Matt Drinkwalter

A Billings native, Drinkwalter is in his first season as an assistant coach at Montana State Billings, helping the throwers. Drinkwalter graduated from Billings Senior High School before attending Fresno State University on a full ride track and field scholarship. After two seasons with the Bulldogs, Drinkwalter transferred to the University of Montana where he completed a degree in Criminology and an internship with the United States Marshals Service. He was honorably discharged from the United States Military after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan as a part of the Army Rangers from 2003-05. He returned to Billings where he resides with his wife and are expecting their first child.
